In late 2024, a friend, knowing we are a family that love sports, invited us to visit their church for "Sports Sunday".  Everyone was going to wear their favorite sports jersey, and there would be a "tailgating" party in the parking lot afterwards, with food and fellowship. During the service that day, as we sang in worship, I looked around the congregation full of people in various sports jerseys and then looked down at my t-shirt. I thought to myself, "I don't really have a favorite team or a favorite player... I'm just team Jesus!" and the idea for Jesus Jerseys hit me, immediately. I spent the next couple months coming up with every excuse in the book as to why I was NOT going to start a business. With every excuse, I kept feeling God push harder saying "this isn't just an idea you came up with, this is a Commandment from me".  One day, He spoke to me clearly and said, "Go read about Moses and see all of the excuses he had for me when I commanded him to lead my people out of Egypt". I was humbled and knew then and there that I had to stop with the excuses. The very next day, I started the process of creating the Original Jesus Jersey Company. I still don't know why God has given me this company or what is going to come of it, but each day I see small glimpses of reward for my faith. My family has been behind me every step of the way; supporting me, loving me and encouraging me and I'm so thankful for that. I cannot wait to see what God has planned for my family and The Original Jesus Jersey Company!
